It all started with Ice Cream
Anthony and Tiffany met in 2013 at the birthday party of a mutual friend. Having left an impression, they decided to exchange phone numbers a few months later and get to know each other better. They went on their first date at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour in Brea, California.
Flash forward exactly 3 years later from their first date. They were celebrating their anniversary on a weekday and decided to go out for dinner because they already planned a weekend getaway in San Diego. “So I told Anthony, ‘Let’s just go somewhere close by and we will splurge in San Diego.’ Anthony picked me up for dinner with roses (which wasn’t out of the ordinary) and we headed to dinner.” Little did she know that Anthony was planning something much more nostalgic and romantic for the evening.
Instead of going to a local restaurant, Anthony got on the freeway and took Tiffany to their favorite restaurant in Pasadena, called Santorini. They enjoyed their favorite dishes and some sangria before going for a stroll.
“He then took her to ‘their spot’ in Brea, the very same spot they shared our first date, and where he asked her to be his girlfriend.” After 3 years, in the same place where they began their relationship, Anthony got down on one knee and proposed. “And of course she said YES!”
The happy couple got married in Los Angeles County, California at Monterey Hill Restaurant and Bar. I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding in this breathtaking location. Monterey Hill, with its Victorian charm, has a beautiful view overlooking the San Gabriel Valley. It was also a pleasure working with Tiffany and her bridal party. The group of ladies was a riot on the day of the wedding while getting ready at the Montebello Hilton Garden Inn. They were taking selfies and boomerang videos on their phones. The bridesmaids even got me and my assistant photographer to join in on doing a few funny boomerang videos and photos that ended up on facebook. LOL!
Tiffany used her name to create a clever theme of Tiffany and Co on her special day. She and the bridal party gathered for more photos in a beautiful spot we had found next to the restaurant with a gazebo. Tiffany, whose father recently passed away, was given away at the ceremony by her brother and mother. She then performed a heartwarming brother/sister dance at the reception. After the wedding, Anthony and Tiffany celebrated their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
